Witness This // Agenda 2011

Story by

Spent the week at Agenda during the US Open in Huntington Beach and had a blast. Not only was it an amazing show, there were tons of great people and a serious push from a few brands that we had to salute. Here is quick style collage from some of our favorites.

TAVIK//

Tavik makes us want to rock out, be stylish, and be comfortable all at the same time. With a music festival vibe, this includes great tanks, and shorts (our favorite being the coachella print boardie) And also a serious design spread from the girls swim. We spoke with Erik Paulson (Tavik President) on music collaborations, color inspiration, and lots more. Thank you Erik, Kyla, and team for showing us some really great apparel.

LIFETIME//

This brand hails from Vancouver BC and really made an impact on us this last week. Shay who is the director of sales for Lifetime spoke to us a little bit about the brand and showed us some highlights from the line. The detailing, graphics, and materials were hard to not get excited about.

ROOK//

A graphic tee/fleece brand that kills it beyond belief with illustrations and artwork. We spoke with Jonathon Garcia and Joe King about where they were headed and what they liked about building their own brand after being with Obey. The designs are insane and the tees are great quality.

JEDIDIAH//

We have been fans of Jedidiah for a while but they continue to exceed when it comes to great fit and trend forward designs. Sam Larson gave us a sneak peak at the upcoming season and about the artist collaborations they have been charging on for a while.

IRON & RESIN//

Lately we’ve seen a lot of cycle style brands around (cycle zombies, deus, brixton), but Iron & Resin feels just as good. They seem to reference the old Hell’s Angels style graphics but with a modern surf twist. Their booth was really interesting to walk through and we look forward to seeing their collection. Here are some great shots from their lookbook.
