Being friends with Benjamin Askinas for a while now, I have come to understand his art and process — matchmaking narrative with photography. He’s set meticulous standards outside simple, ordained beauty photography and expands into the aberrant.

For "Lucid", light artists Tarek Mawad and Friedrich van Schoor aka 3hund shot some epic nature and landscape sceneries that are illuminated by simple, electroluminescent geometric lights and shapes. The result is a surreal spectacle reminiscent of a slumbering alien planet.

THE YEAR club opened last year. It features an interactive dancefloor with lighting that reacts to body temperature and movements of the dancing crowd.
