The name may say NO but my ears say YES. Echo Park’s NO is the project of Bradley Carter (vocals) and Sean Stentz (bass) who have built their project into a five piece band. They put out their first release Don’t Worry, You’ll Be Here Forever a few months ago. As the title suggests, DWYBHF is an inviting yet cold shoulder of a six song offering – the hopeless romantic soundtrack juxtaposition of positive loss. The music is simple and with a somewhat predictable gait but beautifully arranged allowing Carter’s crooning vocals to shine through. The only song I wasn’t feeling was The Long Haul and this is why.
